Day 1 - Western and Southern Jeju Geosites • 09:00 | Depart from Jeju Sun Hotel (Yeondong) • 09:40-10:30 | O’sulloc Tea Museum

A cultural introduction to Jeju’s green tea heritage. Features traditional tea exhibits and architecture reflecting Jeju’s modern agri-tourism.

• 10:50-11:40 | Suweolbong (Suweol Hill)

A UNESCO Global Geopark site known for its tuff cone, stratified lava, and sea cliffs formed by hydrovolcanic activity. Offers views of sedimentary processes and coastal erosion.

• 12:00-14:00 | Sanbangsan & Lunch (Sanbang Mountain Area)

A prominent trachyte dome rising from the coastal plain. Offers insight into intrusive volcanic processes. Includes visit to Sanbanggulsa Grotto or coastal observation.

• 14:10-15:00 | Songaksan (Mt. Songak)

A double-cratered tuff ring and parasitic cone. Features well-preserved pyroclastic layers and WWII historical relics. Coastal hike optional.

• 15:30-16:30 | Cheonjiyeon Waterfall

A scenic site illustrating Jeju’s hydrological cycle and joint-controlled basalt erosion. Culturally significant as “God’s Pond.”

• 16:30-17:20 | Seogwipo Formation (Seogwipo Chert and Tuff Layers)

A visible cross-section of late Pleistocene marine sedimentation. Offers insight into paleoenvironmental changes and diatomaceous deposits.

Day 2 - Eastern Jeju Volcanic Landscapes • 09:00 | Depart from hotel • 09:50-11:30 | Jeju Folk Village Museum

An immersive ethnographic site that preserves Jeju’s traditional housing, tools, and customs. Highlights adaptation to volcanic terrain and island climate.

• 12:00-13:00 | Lunch (Local restaurant near Seongsan)

Traditional Jeju cuisine with seafood options.

• 13:00-14:30 | Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak)

A textbook tuff cone formed by Surtseyan eruption. Designated Natural Monument and UNESCO site. Offers panoramic view of lava plains and coastal geomorphology.

• 15:00-16:00 | Manjanggul Lava Tube (If unavailable, Jeju Stone Park)

One of the finest lava tubes in the world, formed by basaltic pahoehoe flows. Includes lava stalactites, lava benches, and a rare lava column.

• 17:00 | Arrival at Jeju International Airport / Hotel drop-off (Yeondong area)
